JUVÉDERM® vycross range

Premium, longer lasting results (12-24 months)

JUVÉDERM® Vycross is Allergan’s premium range of dermal filler products which are longer-lasting, smoother to inject, biodegradable, and reversible. They represent the latest technology in dermal fillers moving things forward from its highly successful Juvederm Ultra range.

 The Vycross range is a smoother to inject, longer-lasting due to its unique make-up of filler molecules (Voluma up to 24 months, Volift up to 15 months, Volbella up to 12 months).  Key features include: 

• A smoother gel, allowing for a more comfortable treatment
• Less bruising and swelling in the days after treatment due to lower HA concentration, drawing less moisture and causing less reactionary inflammation
• Reduced discomfort from the Lidocaine added to the formulation
• Very subtle and natural outcomes due to the smoothness of the gel and being able to inject it with more precision 
• Better results because it’s easier to shape and mould once injected
• Longer-lasting due to its unique makeup of high and low molecular weight HA
• Patients can end up paying less for Vycross treatments due to their longevity 

• Juvederm Voluma – for improving mid-face volume (such as cheeks) and non-surgical rhinoplasty. The most cohesive and elastic of the Vycross range and the first in the range to be released a few years ago.
• Juvederm Volbella – for longer-lasting results in dealing with under eye hollows and crows’ feet. This product is the least cohesive and least elastic out of the Vycross range making it preferable for the tear trough treatment because it’s easy to get it into the areas it’s needed with smooth results.
• Juvederm Volift – for longer-lasting results for depressions in the nasolabial folds but also creates fantastic definition/sharpness for lips.
• Juvederm Retouch – a smaller sized Volift aimed at giving patients that little bit extra when a full 1ml syringe isn’t required. 

Juvederm®  Ultra Range 

Stable, reliable results (up to 9 months)

The JUVÉDERM® Ultra range is cross-linked for decent longevity of results (typically up to 6 months) and it creates good lift with more impact initially. The Ultra range attracts more moisture and therefore a little more inflammation and swelling in the early stages.

 The Ultra range gives gives great results and is less costly per treatment than the Vycross range (but is less long lasting)

 There are 4 different formulas within the Ultra range; 

• Juvederm Ultra – Our most common dermal filler; the filler contains non-animal hyaluronic acid with the addition of 0.3% lidocaine to reduce discomfort.
• Juvederm Ultra 2 – Mainly used for the subtle correction of medium facial lines. In particular those around the corners of the eyes and those very close to the surface of the skin.
• Juvederm Ultra 3 – Mainly used for more versatility in contouring and volumising. This can be anything from moderate to lips, medium facial lines and skin depressions, in areas such as the nasolabial folds.
• Juvederm Ultra 4 – A robust formulation, which is used for volumising and correction of medium to deep folds and wrinkles. This includes adding volume in the cheeks and chin improving contour to the face.
