Each JUVÉDERM® facial filler is designed for a particular purpose, whether it’s to treat fine or deep lines/folds, restore facial volume for a lifting effect, or reshape and redefine the lips. JUVÉDERM® vycross range
Premium, longer lasting results (12-24 months)
JUVÉDERM® Vycross is Allergan’s premium range of dermal filler products which are longer-lasting, smoother to inject, biodegradable, and reversible. They represent the latest technology in dermal fillers moving things forward from its highly successful Juvederm Ultra range.
The Vycross range is a smoother to inject, longer-lasting due to its unique make-up of filler molecules (Voluma up to 24 months, Volift up to 15 months, Volbella up to 12 months). Key features include:
- A smoother gel, allowing for a more comfortable treatment
- Less bruising and swelling in the days after treatment due to lower HA concentration, drawing less moisture and causing less reactionary inflammation
- Reduced discomfort from the Lidocaine added to the formulation
- Very subtle and natural outcomes due to the smoothness of the gel and being able to inject it with more precision
- Better results because it’s easier to shape and mould once injected
- Longer-lasting due to its unique makeup of high and low molecular weight HA
- Patients can end up paying less for Vycross treatments due to their longevity
- Juvederm Voluma – for improving mid-face volume (such as cheeks) and non-surgical rhinoplasty. The most cohesive and elastic of the Vycross range and the first in the range to be released a few years ago.
- Juvederm Volbella – for longer-lasting results in dealing with under eye hollows and crows’ feet. This product is the least cohesive and least elastic out of the Vycross range making it preferable for the tear trough treatment because it’s easy to get it into the areas it’s needed with smooth results.
- Juvederm Volift – for longer-lasting results for depressions in the nasolabial folds but also creates fantastic definition/sharpness for lips.
- Juvederm Retouch – a smaller sized Volift aimed at giving patients that little bit extra when a full 1ml syringe isn’t required.
Juvederm® Ultra Range
Stable, reliable results (up to 9 months)
The JUVÉDERM® Ultra range is cross-linked for decent longevity of results (typically up to 6 months) and it creates good lift with more impact initially. The Ultra range attracts more moisture and therefore a little more inflammation and swelling in the early stages.
The Ultra range gives gives great results and is less costly per treatment than the Vycross range (but is less long lasting)
There are 4 different formulas within the Ultra range;
- Juvederm Ultra – Our most common dermal filler; the filler contains non-animal hyaluronic acid with the addition of 0.3% lidocaine to reduce discomfort.
- Juvederm Ultra 2 – Mainly used for the subtle correction of medium facial lines. In particular those around the corners of the eyes and those very close to the surface of the skin.
- Juvederm Ultra 3 – Mainly used for more versatility in contouring and volumising. This can be anything from moderate to lips, medium facial lines and skin depressions, in areas such as the nasolabial folds.
- Juvederm Ultra 4 – A robust formulation, which is used for volumising and correction of medium to deep folds and wrinkles. This includes adding volume in the cheeks and chin improving contour to the face.

DERMAL FILLER RESTYLANE
Restylane was launched more than 20 years ago and has become the gold standard of dermal fillers. It is the injectable filler that every other filler brand is compared with.
Before Restylane was introduced to the market, hyaluronic acid gels were of animal origin. These gels had an elevated risk of causing unwanted immune reactions and in today’s world, to use a gel of animal origin would be unethical and unthinkable for most people.
Restylane is made from hyaluronic acid produced by bacterial fermentation. The process results in pure hyaluronic acid that is safe and natural to our skin and bodies. At the time, this innovation totally revolutionized the market and is partly the reason why aesthetic treatments with dermal fillers are so popular, safe, and accessible today.
Since the launch, there have been more than 40 million Restylane treatments worldwide. More than 6,700 patients have taken part in sponsored clinical studies and there are over 300 peer-reviewed articles on the effectiveness and safety of Restylane. The importance of all these numbers is of course that Restylane is a product you can trust.
RESTYLANE DEFYNE
As we age, our skin loses elasticity and the lines that run from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines) become more pronounced. Restylane Defyne is crafted with XpresHAn TechnologyTM to correct these deepened lines.3 The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Defyne is also designed to help support your facial expressions—for natural-looking results that help maintain your natural movement.
RESTYLANE REFYNE
As skin loses elasticity with age, the lines that run from the sides of your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines) appear more noticeable. Restylane Refyne is a specifically formulated hyaluronic acid dermal filler made with XpresHAn TechnologyTM that helps correct these lines for a more natural look to your face.3,4 The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Refyne is also designed to help support your natural expression—for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when you're smiling, frowning and even puckering up.
RESTYLANE
Restylane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body's own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including the lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines).
RESTYLANE SILK
The lips and the lines around the mouth, like other areas of the face, show signs of aging as you get older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. Restylane Silk is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in these particular areas by using smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than those used in other Restylane® products.
